It is believed that Sports are an excellent medium for human development, and India has a tremendous amount of raw talent and hidden potential to excel in the field of sports. Influenced by India’s incredible and most successful performance in Paralympic history at the Paris Games, 2024, we were inspired and motivated to conceive an NGO and aptly named it GooD DeeD Welfare Foundation

GDWF is committed to imparting scientific and professional Coaching in Table Tennis to the underprivileged and PARA Sportspersons in order to transform their lives through the medium of Sports.

Initiatives and the necessary steps have already been taken so as to make a visible and significant contribution in their lives by channelising their efforts and energies in the right direction. We have embarked upon a challenging journey and devised a unique concept to professionally identify, groom and nourish absolute raw talent and hidden potential. Our team have chalked out ambitious plans to promote the game at the grass root levels and intend setting up Academies with our own funds. Besides, one of the key objectives and priorities of the Foundation will also be to target Boys and Girls between 5 and 10 years of age and offer them FREE coaching. Further, these children will be motivated and encouraged to take up the Sport competitively by providing them with Bats and balls free of cost during the course of the entire training program. It is also proposed to organize State, National and International Events for the PARA Players, Deaf & Dumb and the Special children. On the topmost of our Agenda, (an Event which is very special and really close to our hearts) and which will be conducted for the first time ever; is the 1st PARA Table Tennis Maharashtra State Championships. It is proposed to organize this prestigious Event in a grand and befitting manner under the auspices of MSTTA very shortly.

I, humbly submit this brief testimony of a life committed to service, excellence and the elevation of Indian Sports on the global stage.

As the Coach of the Indian Junior Table Tennis Team, I have had the rare privilege and honour of guiding our nation’s finest young talents to remarkable success – 9 Gold, 13 Silver and 25 Bronze medals at prestigious International Tournaments.

Today, my life’s mission continues – but with even greater resolve. My dream is to build a world-class training system that consistently produces Champions who can shine at the international arena and bring Commonwealth Championship medals for India. This is not just a goal, but a sacred promise I made to myself – a promise I am prepared to fulfil by sacrificing and investing my entire life’s savings.

I retired in 2021 as Assistant Commissioner, Central GST Department, Ahmedabad, having served the nation with utmost dedication, integrity and distinction. Throughout my illustrious and glorious career, I have been honoured and felicitated by respected dignitaries and institutions, yet my most meaningful reward has always been seeing young athletes rise and represent India with pride. These milestones were not just victories on the table, but triumphs of discipline, focus and the unyielding Indian spirit. I, sincerely seek your wholehearted support – not just for myself, but for the hundreds of young players who deserve a fighting chance at greatness. I am driven not by personal gain, but by the vision of hearing the Indian national anthem echo across stadiums worldwide.

A glance at the major highlights of the Projects launched and undertaken by ‘GDWF’ ever since its inception indicates our relentless efforts for the upliftment of the underprivileged and commitment towards social causes. As we step into the realm of Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) we extend our invitation to be part of history in the making.
